New Fixation Hat!!

I think everyone would agree that the most purchased pattern and yarn in the shop is Theresa Gaffey's roll edge baby hat made with Cascade Fixation.

Well, if you are ready to try something new, here it is. It still takes only one skein of fixation, but is knit from the top down. What a great summer gift.

WHEN YA GOTTA GO, YA GOTTA GO!!!

On our journey home we stopped many times to coffee up and use the facilities.

Top on our list was the stop at Kickapoo, IL where we found the bathrooms to be "OUT OF ORDER". OUCH!!! Even our teacher bladders were screaming.

Sally was determined to find a bathroom at 12:30 am on a Sunday night, so we took the next exit into lovely Brimfield and found Burnzee's Bar and Grill lit up like a Christmas Tree. We were goin' in.

Our new friends at Burnzee's were great and we want to wish Downtown Julie Brown a belated happy birthday. She is on the far left. Stevo (far right) greeted us at the door and pointed out the facilities we so desparately needed.

If you are ever in Brimfield be sure to stop. You may even want to attend their "Throwdown Hoedown and Bikini Bikewash", but don't go on July 17th as indicated by the sign. Stevo informed us the poster was wrong and they changed it to the actual date July 10th, but the rain washed away the zero. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???

What a hoot.

A little bump in the road or should we say the back bumper.

Blondie in stilettos, hot pants and a tube top claimed she was not paying attention after a gruelling shift at HOOTERS.

Both officers agreed SHE HAD NOT BEEN DRINKING.

The three Minnesota women said "Yah , you betcha officers"
